✅ Getting Started

It's easy to create your own copy of the chart.

  1. Create your own copy of the Marquette Method Google Sheet by choosing Make a copy from the File menu (under Share & Export on mobile).
  2. If you have data, enter your last 6 cycles. If you don't have data, skip this step.
  3. If you want to share your chart with your partner, you can do so with the Share button in the upper right corner.
Natural Family Planning requires expertise which this spreadsheet alone cannot provide. Moreover, we can't guarantee that this sheet provides accurate info for all situations and conditions. You should always consult a professional NFP instructor and double-check this sheet's calculations when practicing NFP.

📆 Daily Instructions

  1. If starting a new cycle, enter the start date for the new cycle.
  2. Enter the monitor reading for today. If there's no monitor reading, you must enter an "X".
  3. Enter bleeding or intercourse, if applicable.
  4. If you used an OPK test, you can also log that test result.
  5. Your fertile window is updated automatically based on monitor readings.
  6. View the Summary tab to see estimates and calculations for upcoming days.
Note that OPK results are not included in this sheet's automatic calculations. You must interpret OPK results yourself.
